I am a management guy by profession and a romantic at heart. Creative juices often slosh about in whatever little grey cells I have. These manifest themselves in many ways – reading and writing, creating movies on topics of family interest, articulating thoughts which pop up on sunny days, mostly in the form of prose, occasionally by way of crude attempts at poetic compositions. Call me a wordsmith, if you will. Two maladies I am known to suffer from are – Professor-itis and Wodehous-itis.
Two books I have unleashed so far upon the unsuspecting public happen to be ‘Surviving in the Corporate Jungle’ and ‘I Am Something: Developing a New Leader Mindset’ (co-authored with Prof G P Rao).
If the realms of management, P G Wodehouse, spirituality, movies and a bemused look at some of the serious aspects of life interest you, you may find it worth your while to see the world through my subjective eyes. And yes, be prepared for a dash of patriotic fervour as well.
I am from the North of India, though settled in South at Pondicherry for more than two decades. Often, I can be found infesting parts of Europe.

Dear Ashok Kumar Bhatia
I am writing to inform you of the publication in the magazine that I run, Il Covile ( http://www.ilcovile.it ), of your poetry Why do we turn to Plum When the mood is glum? The poem is published in English in the original and in Italian translation: http://www.ilcovile.it/scritti/COVILE_935_Wodehouse_2.pdf .

Hi Ashok sir! Loved your blog of ‘Indian Curry dished out by Wodehouse’. Came across a fascinating anecdote that PG had named one of his cats ‘Poona’.
I didn’t find any source that could corroborate above story. Can you tell me where I can confirm or you came across that fact?
I am a quizmaster in India and would love to ask this in a quiz. I’ll obviously credit your blog.

Dear Akshay, thank you for the confidence reposed in me and for reaching out. I shall need some time to dig up my old records to check the source of information. It took me close to six months to whip up this essay, and some experts from UK, Sweden, USA and India had also supported me. Shall revert ASAP.
